Who Am I ?
Personal description
I'm just another ordinary boy from Holland (Europe). I was born in Groningen in 1972, I've red hair and blue eyes. I known this latter is difficult to recognize when you watch my picture !
What have I done
... in Groningen. First of all I graduated at the elementary school "Sint Martinus" (1979 - 1984). After this great period, I went to High School / College "Sint Maartens College" (1984-1991). After this, I wanted to go to Delft. So I decided to study Electrical Engineering at the Department of Electrical Engineering (1991-1998). Of course, I didn't study all the time, i.e. during Decmber 1994 - November 1995 I organised a congress, while during August 1995 - September 1996 I took a sebatical year: I became a board member of AEGEE-Delft. Finally, I graduated at 17 September 1998 at the Laboratory of Electromagnetic Research of my faculty. My thesis was about modelling an optical amplifier. Now, I work for Telfort as Core Designer and Planner. Telfort is a Dutch Telecommunication company.Personal interests
Well, I like to play hockey. For 8 years I played hockey for GHHC in Groningen. After finishing high school, I went to Delft. Lucky me, I found a family hockey club "HDM" that was located in The Hague. There, I played for five years. Now, I take a break. That means I don't play hockey for this year. To keep in shape, I play squash. Since I have never ever played squash before, I still try to play this 'soft game'.
